Guide for hidden files and folders

For windows 7:

Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then click OK.

For windows xp:

1.Open Folder Options in Control Panel. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options.

2.On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
